Description: A rhyme action songs competition was organised on the occasion of Children’s Day on the 15th November, 2019 at St. Karen’s Montessori School for Kindergarten students. The Guests of Honour at the programme were Mrs. Manisha Lall, Headmistress of St. Karen’s Collegiate School and Mrs. Angela Knight and Mrs. Dimple Sibu, Incharges of St. Karen’s Primary School. Beauty is in the realm of poetry, and Children enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts and feelings of rhymes. Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence at the programme aptly entitled ‘Karenites Reach for the Stars’. The anchoring of the entire programme was done by Akram Zaheer of U.K.G- A and Ashi Anand of U.K.G- B. The participants from the Nursery, Lower Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten classes came up with different rhymes and dance along to the tunes with great zeal and enthusiasm. The audience was not left idle even for a minute. They were entertained by the wonderful acts of the students. The Winners of Nursery were 1st. Abhinayan, Divansh Div, Aarohi Ojha, Dhruvika 2nd. Kavya Jha, Nidhi Chettri, Abhyuday, Prakriti Singh 3rd. Anantya Shree, Paridhi Mishra, Devansh Singh, Aayushi Raj The Winners of L.K.G were 1st. Vidit Parmar, Shanaile Amreen 2nd . Sushant Singh, Shanaya Singh 3rd. Sanvi Chauhan, Tanya Mishra, Subhanshu Rathor, Aarna The Winners of U.K.G were 1st. Pyali Mahapatra, Balakant Jha, Tanisha Lamba, Tanmay Kashyup 2nd. Abhash Prasad, Somya Singh, Palak Rani, Nemat Khurshid 3rd. Mohi Priya, Manu Priya, Manshi, Palak Ranjan The Judges appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants. They were astonished by the mesmerizing performances by the little ones. They also appreciated the School for moulding the children into ‘Bold and Bright’ future citizens of the country. Our Asst. Headmistress Ma’am praised and lauded the teachers and students for their incredible performance. She encouraged the parents to support their children and allow them to ‘Dream Big and Reach for the Starts’. The Headmistress of the school Mrs. L.B. Galstaun congratulated and awarded the students for their efforts.
