Description:
St. Karen’s Montessori School proudly hosted their first assembly of the session 2018-19 on the occasion of Earth Day.
The assembly commenced with a prayer followed by the Thought of the day. A small skit was presented which highlighted the growing problems of air, water and soil pollution encouraging students to plant trees, pick up roadside trash, save electricity and perform acts of service to save our earth. The assembly aimed at spreading awareness about our duty towards the upkeep of our Mother Earth.
The thought provoking assembly comprised of a song, a poem and a display of useful items made by recycling. The students spread the message. “Save earth, save life”. Finally the assembly concluded with the National anthem.
