79th Independence Day Celebration – 15th August 2025
“Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” – John F. Kennedy
St. Karen’s Montessori School celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August 2025. Students, teachers, and parents gathered to honour the spirit of freedom and unity.
The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by our respected Head Mistress, Mrs. L.B. Galstaun, followed by a solemn March Past and the singing of the National Anthem, echoing pride and togetherness.
A vibrant cultural program, presented by students from Kindergarten to Std. 5, paid tribute to India’s rich heritage and the sacrifices of our heroes. Anchors Umar Fazal and Mihika hosted the event with confidence and charm. The program featured a warm welcome dance, patriotic speeches, poems, energetic group dances, soulful songs and a heartfelt tribute to Indian soldiers—each performance reflecting the spirit of unity, pride, and gratitude.
The inspiring address by Mrs. Galstaun brought the celebration to a proud and meaningful close.
