Joy of Giving Week – Day 2: Sharing Day
“Happiness doesn’t come from what we have, but from what we share.”
Day 2 of the Joy of Giving Week was celebrated as Sharing Day, with the theme “Sharing is Caring” echoing through every classroom and corridor. The day focused on helping children understand that a shared moment, a shared smile, a shared story—each one multiplies joy.
To deepen this message, students from Kindergarten to Std V participated in a special AV room activity, where they watched films that beautifully portrayed empathy, inclusion, and the joy of giving.After the screenings, teachers led reflective discussions, encouraging students to share their thoughts and
feelings.
Children made beautiful Joy Paper Bags using old newspapers, showcasing their creativity by decorating them with stickers, ribbons, glitter, and colorful designs. To make their creations even more inspiring, each student wrote a kind word / a quote on their bags and exchanged them with their bench partners,symbolizing the spirit of sharing and caring.
The day ended with classrooms buzzing with warmth, kindness, and a renewed understanding that sharing truly makes the world a better place.
