The Yummy Talk Show
The Public Speaking Club of our school proudly presented “The Yummy Talk Show – A Celebration of Veggie Voices and Fruity Choices” on 24th July 2025. This vibrant and flavourful event brought together the young orators of Grades 1 and 2, who stepped into the roles of their favourite fruits and vegetables—bringing them to life with humour, expression, and confidence.
The stage came alive with juicy jokes, crunchy facts, and tangy tales as each participant showcased their public speaking skills in the most imaginative and delightful way. From the bold Banana to the wise Watermelon, and the proud Pineapple to the charming Carrot—each child added their own twist, winning hearts and laughter alike.
The event aimed to foster confidence, creativity, and clarity in speech while promoting healthy food habits and environmental awareness. It was heartwarming to see our little stars speak with such conviction and charm.
A highlight of the day was the awards ceremony, where top performers were recognised with titles like The Yummy Talk Star, The Juiciest Fruitastic Star, The Veggies Voice Star, The Sweet and Zesty Star, and Nature’s Little Ambassador.
Graced by enthusiastic parents and respected judges, the show was not only a fun-filled spectacle but also a wonderful reminder that learning can be both meaningful and magical.
Kudos to all the young performers, and heartfelt thanks to the teachers and parents for their support in making The Yummy Talk Show a grand success!
