We are proud to be the citizens of India and feel responsible to celebrate most glorified day our Indian History - "Independence Day "
The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in our school “St .Karen's Montessori School" on 15th August with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.
The school campus was beautifully decorated to commemorate the day. All the students , teachers and parents gathered in the school premises at 9:30 a.m. in the morning.
In the presence of a gleeful gathering, the National Flag was hoisted by Our honorable Headmistress Ma'am Mrs. L.B Galstaun. It was followed by the National Anthem.
A solemn speech was delivered by our Our honorable Headmistress Ma'am Mrs. L.B. Galstaun to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the country and discussed in brief the significance of Independence Day.
A cultural program was held in the school where students of all classes participated. Some students sang melodious patriotic songs and some recited poems. Some made speeches and some presented skit and beautiful dance performances that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the Mother Land.
The program concluded with the vote of thanks .
