Description: “Plant a tree today- grow a future tomorrow, save our Mother Earth!” Earth Day was observed on 22nd April 2025 in our school with great enthusiasm and dedication. Our students from Kindergarten to Std5 came forward together and showcased their creativity and commitment in protecting our planet through a very special assembly and a range of activities. The highlight of the events was a thought-provoking skit performed by the students of Std5, which effectively conveyed the message of reducing plastic waste and adopting sustainable practices. This was followed by soulful songs and energetic dance performances centered around the theme of saving Mother Earth, spreading awareness about environmental conservation. Class activities further promoted eco-awareness and creativity, including palm printing, fingerprint art, and wall hangings made from recycled materials ("Best out of waste"). These projects demonstrated the value of reusing and recycling, encouraging students to think innovatively about waste management and sustainability. The Earth Day celebration was a resounding success, raising awareness about environmental conservation and instilling a deep sense of responsibility among the students. As conscious and spirited Karenites, our young learners understand that it is their duty as responsible citizens of the country and the world to care for and protect our Mother Earth. The day concluded with a collective pledge by students, teachers, and staff to embrace sustainable practices and work together towards a cleaner, greener planet for future generations.
